10/29/11: The best I can do right now is post from my iPhone as my hard drive crashed with no backup. Hoping I can get it all back. This is from first part of a massive storm hitting us right now.
10/27/11: Buskirk Bridge, Hoosick, NY Some of you may recognize this bridge even if you have never been to it. It is one of 29 historic covered bridges in New York state. It has a William Howe truss design and served the great Northern Turnpike beginning in 1799. It is especially meaningful to me as it is close to Hoosick Falls (where I have family) and White Creek (where my grandparents lived and my uncles grew up). The most famous resident was Grandma Moses, who was friends with nearby neighbor Norman Rockwell. Here is an interesting link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grandma_Moses
